General conditions (re.  Italian Decreto legislativo 22 maggio 1999, n. 185)

These terms and conditions only apply to private consumers as they are referred to on the directive on distance selling, thus excuding legal persons.

Individuals placing orders on behalf of companies should DECLARE- the are operating in name of their firm when authenticating for an order. In case they do not, they will be considered as consumers.

By purchasing products from the site you shall be deemed to have accepted terms and conditions in full, as they are stated below:



Order will be accepted only for delivery on the Italian Territory, excluding Livigno and Campione d’Italia, with the exception of specific acceptance for international destinations.

Conclusion of the contract

The contract between Il Seme di Mazza Rita Angelo & C. sas and the Buyer is completed only on the acceptance, in whole or in part, of the order from the owner of the website. The acceptance of the order is only valid if expressed in writing.

On the conclusion of the order, the Buyer declares to acknowledge all the instructions provided during the purchase procedure and to accept al terms and payment conditions described below.

Any claim for compensation, or liability is excluded for direct or indirect damages to persons or items, due to failure of acceptance of an order or of a part of it.

The Buyer will keep paper or electronic trace of these sales conditions, according to art. 3 e 4 Dlgs 185/1999 about distance selling


Order Processing

Your order will be processed directly by us, or transmitted to the florist shop closest to the delivery address, as per the list of  served towns. For any request or information about your order, our customer care service is at your disposal.

Flower delivery can be arranged during shop opening hours, and generally during opening hours of associate shops.

Flowers are a seasonal product. For this reason, they are subject to availability, especially in case of a short notice order. For this reason the final product can be slightly different from the one shown on the website. We guarantee in any case that all bouquets are prepared with fresh flowers, and are as close as  possible to the picture.

In the event of any supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute with a product of equivalent value and quality without notice.

We are committed to satisfy your needs at best, and we are always at your disposal.

By clicking on the “place order” button, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, including order number, detailed information about purchased product, price, delivery time, sender and recipient’s address.

This message is an automated response, when the order is submitted to the Bank for collecting payment by credit card.

The order is accepted only when the Bank confirms the payment has been successful. Will the Bank fail to send a payment confirmation, the order will be considered as not accepted, and you will be free from any obligations to us.


In case of bank transfer or postal money order, the order is accepted on receipt of the proof of payment by fax. Please note that, without this document, the order will be accepted and fulfilled on receipt of the payment, which generally takes around 5 days to be credited.

Orders will not be processed if no payment is received.

This shall not apply to Club members, who have an open credit with us.

We guarantee thorough processing of every order.

Our Guarantee includes:

-          Delivery of the purchased goods as per previously stated terms about product availability

-          Product quality and freshness

-          Delivery on the required date, except in case of force majeure or recipient unavailability.

Flower prices are subject to seasonal and regional fluctuations.

Delivery cost has to be added to catalogue prices, according to the place of delivery.

In case the recipient refuses the gift for reasons beyond us or the florist, the order will be considered as accomplished, and no refund will be due to the customer.


Please ensure that you have included the full address details, including accurate postcode of the intended recipient and telephone number. We cannot accept responsibility for failed or delayed deliveries, if address details are inaccurate or wrong.

In order to fulfill your request smoothly and in due time, please give us additional information:

. in case of hospital delivery, please confirm surname, ward, and, if possible, room number.

. in case of hotel delivery, please confirm room number and registration name of recipient (groups, husband’s, ecc..)

Delivery date and time

We generally deliver on the requested dates, with the following exceptions:

Sundays and holidays. We normally do not deliver on these days, exceptions can be arranged with our written confirmation

Valentine’s day - Feb 14th. Considering the exceptional volume of flower gifts usually delivered on this day, we will start deliveries on the 13th, especially to corporate addresses.

Mother’s Day deliveries are generally arranged on Saturday. It is possible that last minute orders, when the recipient is not easily traceable, are delivered on Monday after Mother’s Day.

Christmas and New Year’s Eve orders are generally arranged 2 or 3 days before the required date. We cannot accept a fix date request for the days of Dec. 24th and 25th.

Fix time delivery is only possible on confirmation by e-mail [email protected] or telephone/fax  +39 031 266119. Delivery time period request (morning/afternoon) has to be done when placing the order, or at least 48 hours in advance. In case the recipient is not available, we will leave our delivery card, and we will try to make phone contact later to reschedule delivery. In case we fail to get in touch with the recipient, we will inform the customer right away.

Timed delivery is guaranteed only for funeral tributes. In such cases a fix time has to be confirmed by the customer. We generally guarantee timed delivery for requests with 24h advance.

We cannot assure delivery in restricted access places such as Army bases, Ports and Airports.

Prices and payment methods

Prices include VAT.

We accept payment by all major credit and/or debit cards.

Other payment methods need advanced agreement with the florist by phone, fax or e-mail.


Period of Validity

The offer is valid if the delivery is due within 15 days from the order. In case delivery time is longer, the florist is entitled to decide if the order stands, provided he informs the customer within 5 days from the forecast delivery.

This id due to the fact that the product might no longer be available, or suffer exceptional cost increase due to its seasonal nature.

Right of withdrawal

The consumer may not cancel an order as per point 1 and 2, as:

a)       the service supply started before the 10 days deadline, in accordance with point 1, with the consumer’s agreement

b)       customized goods  which cannot be returned, or risk to fade.

Cancellation right

You can cancel your order with 48 hours notice before the requested delivery date, specifying your order number.

Cancellation after that term might be exceptionally accepted, but refund is not guaranteed.

Cancellation requests have to be addressed both to the email address [email protected], and by fax, during opening hours.

In the execution of this contract Il Seme di Mazza Rita Angelo & C. is committed to guarantee the confidentiality of your personal data and that they are used only for the purpose of processing an order, in full respect of existing Italian legislation on Privacy Law 196/2003.

In no case the personal information about our customers is disclosed to third parties.

The ordering of products and services from our site is carried out by an order form. The information required are necessary to us and to our partner for issuing an order confirmation to the customer and for the delivery of the goods.

Personal data are also used, if necessary, to make contact with the final recipient.

They are not used to send e-mail and information about our company.

Personal data relating to the transaction will be stored on our server, only until the due amount is credited to our account and then deleted in accordance with law, unless in case of a  registration as a member of the Club.

Credit cards numbers are NOT processed by us but by the server of the Banking company which is enabled to carry out the transaction and that is the only one having confidential contact with your Credit Card Company.

The amount of the transaction will  be credited to our account on your behalf, without transmitting above data.

Cancellation of registration

Users who have joined our mailing list, as members of the Club, can cancel their registration on our website.
